Chinese New Year Eve!
Hooray! It is going to be chinese new year soon.I cannot wait for the ang pows to come, I wonder how much money I would get considering that I had two uncles, two aunties and 13 grand uncles and aunties and so many more relatives that I cannot even count.Well, the only bad things are that firstly, ALL the money would go into my bank and secondly, I would be travelling from place to place like a mad dog.
My family started off by doing spring cleaning for about one hour or more, we had skipped breakfast and planned on going to my grandmother's house to eat a heavy lunch, and there would always be many dishes on the table even if you were eating alone. I took a bath after cleaning the house and proceeded to my grandmother's house.
When we reached her house, we had a scumptious lunch and settled down to do our own stuff. When night came, the house started to crowd with all my cousins, aunties and uncles.Luckily, I was part of the many to be able to eat first, at first, when I saw the food I gasped in awe. There were more than ten dishes on the table an a gigantic steamboat in the centre. The food ranged from abalone to shark fins soup. I really wondered how in the world one fridge would be able contain this much food, not to mention that there were two tables that were filled with food.
I could not even jog or much less even run after that meal, I felt like my stomach would explode, I really regret eating so much but yet I enjoyed it so much. After the meal, my cousins and I had few games of bingo, but we did not bet any money, that is...... until tommorrow or the next day. That night, I stayed up for the countdown while my parents went praying. Sadly, I felt that the countdown was rather boring as all they did was sing songs and I only had a few laughs. I don't think I will be watching next year's countdown if it is at this quality unless they put some pole dancers in the show. Just kidding :)

Secondary 1 RSP orientation
A picture of the sec 1s' listening to our introduction about the orientation
I was the station leader for the garden and showed them the different plants in the garden. As they would be tested in our little 'suprise' later, i introduced most of the plants and then gave them a preparation test so that the 'surprise' test later would be a breeze. It was rather easy and most of the groups managed to tell me the names of five plants after just 1 round of introduction to the plants.
Group after group came, and when I found out that one of the groups were pretty 'dead', I decided to do something rather unimaginable to lift their spirits and be more enthusiastic about learning about the plants.I told them that if they could name five plants, their seniors will pole dance for you. They immediately became enthusiastic about the plants and were all able to name five plants. I was quite happy, that is, until I realised that I had to do a pole dance, well at least some of the other seniors were doing it with me. It was pretty hilarious, and I was quite sad that there were no pictures to show them to you people on this blog.(Hope Ms Shyamira and 'Ibu' Leo do not find out about this as pole dancing has absolutely nothing to do with RSP)

After the tour around the RSP room and the garden, it was time for the amazing race, as you would probably know, contestants are to complete various stations and go to the next one, and finally reach the final destination. The only difference was that no team was eliminated even if they were in last place. All the groups were so fast that one of the groups only took about 10 seconds and probably shorter to finish my station. We then ended by singing Bangawan Solo with Daniel Kong and Lok playing their musical instuments and then invited the teachers to sing it too, with Ze Xuan the lead singer with the microphone, it was so funny!
All the way Ze Xuan!!We support you( I think!)
All in all, it was a great experience for both secondary two and one RSP students and I wish the secondary one students all the best in the learning of South East Asia and their third language, Bahasa Indonesia.

Best NPCC training ever!!!
Today was a rather normal day, it was the end of school and I had NPCC training after school, as usual, I and several of my buddies proceeded to the NP room for training. I was surprised when I saw some of the 'ponners' who attended training that day. Usually the numbers will be about 60% of the total students, but today, it was about 80%.
My guess is that there was games today, which was probably why most of the squad were so enthusiastic about coming for training. We started out doing physical training, which consists of the usual crunches, push ups, half squads...After which we proceeded to the games, when we heard about it we jumped for joy.
We were playing captains ball, and I, one of the few "pro" players, was unfortunately in one of the lousier teams. We were losing badly until our seniors stepped in to help us.There was a really, really, really wierd thing that kept happening, whenever my indian squadmate from the opposite side scored, for some reason or another, he would shout 'I LOVE ROTI PRATA!!!'. It was so wierd that I simply cannot describe it, yet it was so funny that my stomach nearly exploded due to laughter.
It was a great day, and it got even better when we found out that there was no drills. This was one of the best and probably the best training ever yet. Even though I know that it is impossible, I really wish that every training would be like that!
